On July 21, 1952 10:43 a.m. an earthquake of magnitude 7.3 on the Richter scale occurred in 'Kern County' (California). The shock waves have spread across an area of 400,000 square kilometers. 12 people were killed, 18 were injured.
Debbi Raston (mother of three children) was shopping when the earthquake took place. Because of a hat, that she wanted to bring back to her car, she survived...
