roadblock = old car drawing

October.14.2013      DIN-A6      5.8 x 4.1 inch

Description

...it was our luck that I had forced Gary to lie down in the footwell, so that he could not be seen from the outside. Sometimes Gary does stupid things.

Those cursed roadblocks.

I let the car roll out and very slowly we reached to the cops: "Sergeant, what's going on, what's that action for?"

From under the shield of his cap, he looked me right into the face - the piercing eyes took me for an infinitely long moment - "Not your problem – Drive on"

Cautiously, I pressed on the accelerator, the engine got louder and with a deep rumble we drove slowly along the police cars.

The red and blue signal lights on the roofs of the cops reflected rhythmically in the paint of our car - 'Gary, just stay down'.

Finally it was over - I accelerated and we left the last roadblock behind.

Quiet giggling Gary got up behind me. In each arm, he had a bag stuffed with banknotes – oh, what a sight!

That was just a small part - the whole trunk was full of these bags.

This time it was worth it - we made it.

In this 'trip' we got about 3 million dollars.

And the best part was, the cops still thought, we would be in the room with the hostages...
