fight drawing

March.18.2014      DIN-A4      11.7 x 8.3 inch

Description

'Is it a game?'

'Is it about the ranking within the herd?'

'Or ist a female around?'

Nature installed the competition permanently - it works very well

Note

This drawing is the first real 'drawing' I made. By definition, a drawing is made of separate lines that forms the content.

From time to time I want to capture motifs with the pure style of drawing. I like the old drawings with a light coloring in the background - so I shade the form smoothly with my fingers (only a soft indication).

Steps

1. Basic drawing with a soft line-shading
2. Soft-shading (with fingers), to indicate a 'coloring'
3. Lines + Hatching
