Killer = face drawing

February.28.2014      DIN-A4      11.7 x 8.3 inch

Description

"East End", London 1888:

'In the pale moon light, the metal glistens. A short light reflection and the arm moves down - again and again'
.

The cases were never solved, although sometimes it was very close (only minutes) - almost the police had catched him.

Even today it is not clear who he was.

Five prostitutes were murdered, four of them badly mutilated.

In the meantime, there are movies about him:

Jack The Ripper

(of course I had a portrait photo of him, to make this drawing )

Steps

I inverted the original picture (on the computer) into a bright version and with that I made the bright drawing. After that I scanned the drawing and inverted it on the computer.

First I show the 'real' drawing on the paper and then the steps.

The pre-drawing and the black shadows are only minimal, so I'll spare them and put the inverted images side by side.
