"East End", London 1888:
'In the pale moon light, the metal glistens. A short light reflection and the arm moves down - again and again'.
The cases were never solved, although sometimes it was very close (only minutes) - almost the police had catched him.
Even today it is not clear who he was.
Five prostitutes were murdered, four of them badly mutilated.

I inverted the original picture (on the computer) into a bright version and with that I made the bright drawing. After that I scanned the drawing and inverted it on the computer.
First I show the 'real' drawing on the paper and then the steps.
The pre-drawing and the black shadows are only minimal, so I'll spare them and put the inverted images side by side.
